Cinematography is about finding the feeling before finding the frame.
Creating worlds

AboutMe
Stories

light
I started my journey in the Indian film industry in 2017, at the age of 21, in Malayalam cinema.
Over the years, I had the opportunity to work across Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films, learning the craft through different stories, filmmakers and visual worlds. Some of the projects that became important chapters in that journey include Kuruthi, Bro Daddy, and several other films that shaped the way I see and approach cinema.
One of the experiences closest to me has been shooting Pendulum, an independent Malayalam feature film. Working on an independent film taught me to look beyond scale and resources — to find the image within the story, to be resourceful, and to make every frame count. It remains an important part of my journey as a cinematographer.
Four years ago, I moved to Bombay, where my work expanded into the Hindi film and streaming space. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects such as Heeramandi, Chandu Champion, Mirzapur, and many others.
I've also had the privilege of collaborating with filmmakers such as Gurmeet Singh, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Kabir Khan, working across productions that range from intimate, character-driven stories to large-scale cinematic worlds.
Whether it is an independent film made with limited resources or a large-scale production with an enormous canvas, I approach every story with the same curiosity — to discover the image that belongs to it.
